Without points on it, a chore is just something that has to be done. With points on it, it is something to get to first.
Taskr is not a to-do list for the children. The adults race on the same list, for the same chores and the same points.

Add the chores that have to be done anyway
The dishwasher and the trash, or whatever it is in your house. You set what each one is worth, and leave it open to everyone.
Be first, and get it approved
Whoever does the chore first ticks it off. An adult approves it, the points are paid out, and the leaderboard updates for everyone.
Race for the prize
Set a points target, a prize and a date. Whoever reaches the target first wins. If you would rather pool the points as a team, everyone's count toward one shared goal.

Questions about Taskr
How do we stop someone ticking off chores they have not done?
Completed chores go to an adult for approval before points are paid out. The same applies when points are exchanged for a reward.
Do we decide the prize ourselves?
Yes. You set the prize, the points target and the date the winner is crowned. The reward shop is also empty until you fill it, so points can be exchanged for smaller things along the way.
What if we do not want to compete against each other?
Switch to a shared goal. Then everyone's points count toward one points target and one shared prize.
Which package includes Taskr?
Taskr is part of Organr. The modules are not sold separately. The price is the same whether you use one of them or all of them. The package costs $1.90 a week or $5.90 a month for the whole household. You try everything free for 7 days first, and cancel in the App Store whenever you want.
Does everyone in the family need their own account?
No. One adult sets up the household with their email address. Everyone else is added as a member. They sign in by tapping their name and entering a code, so children need neither email nor password. The household has room for 6 members. The price is the same whether there are two of you or 6.
Do the others see changes straight away?
Yes. Taskr syncs while you use it. Whatever one person adds shows up for everyone else, without anyone having to refresh.
